COLLINS BATTERY "B"

We are a Civil War reenacting group consisting of individuals, who are interested in demonstrating, learning, teaching and experiencing that period of American history known as the Civil War, War of the Rebellion, or War Between the States.

We represent a Confederate Artillery Battery that was attached to General Joe Shelby during Price's raid through Missouri in 1864. We do galvanize as Yanks at events when needed.

We have one complete full scale; full bore 12lb Napoleon with limber and one complete full scale 12lb Mountain Howitzer with limber.

We have members who have been in the hobby for over 16 years as well as new members. Collins Battery "B" is a family oriented group with family members present at events

We average about 5 to 8 events per year. Most are in the Missouri and Kansas area; However, we do long haul events (different parts of the US) at times.
